Swoon!

Gumshoe left for work today and forgot something he needed.  

He called me to bring him the forgotten item, so LG and I piled into the car and off we went.

We pulled up in front of the station and called Gumshoe to come out.  

It has been rainy, rainy, rainy around these parts lately and today was no exception.  And what is it with guys and their refusal to use an umbrella?  Or a raincoat.  Or maybe it's just Gumshoe...I dunno.  But he comes jogging out catching all the raindrops along the way.  He quickly gets in the backseat to play with LG for a while before he has to get back to work.

  

As he opens the door to leave, I say "Oh hurry!  You don't want to get rained on too much!"  You see, feeling raindrops on my head makes me cringe.  I don't know why, but it's so annoying to me.  It even makes me cringe watching Gumshoe have to get rained on. 

Instead of running to miss the rain, Gumshoe comes up to my window and waits for me to roll it down and says...

"I'd wait all day in the rain for a kiss from you" and then kisses me goodbye.

Swoon.

I'm not particularly romantic or mushy, and neither is Gumshoe.  But maybe that's why these little moments are so sweet to me.
