Herd Ball

Herd Ball...That's what Gumshoe affectionately calls kiddie soccer games because they all run after the ball in a big herd.  But it's soooo cute!  

I went to watch cousin Phoebe's soccer game with some of the fam this morning while Gumshoe dealt with the cable guy.  LG would have LOVED to go watch his big cousin, but we woke up to frostbite weather and I wanted to leave all of his little digits intact so I decided to go it alone.  Never mind that it was in the 90's earlier this week.  Nothing like a 50 degree swing.

Anywhoo...all the teams had super-intimidating names like the "Polka Dots" and the "Unicorns".  Phoebe was on team "Shooting Stars".  Here's a recap of what was probably the most epic soccer game of all time!  Seriously...Pele who?

Okay...that's not completely true...everyone's a winner in herd ball because I'm pretty sure the ref didn't keep track.

At the end, all the parents line up to do the "tunnel" so all the kids can run through...

So cute!  Can't wait 'til LG's out there.  Well...not on the girl's team, but you get what I mean.
