Whenever he's in a swing for more than 37 seconds, a sudden case of narcolepsy takes over and he's fast asleep. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of research out there on this topic and we're learning as we go.
In retrospect, there were signs...
But I guess we were in denial. We just thought he'd grow out of it.
He hasn't.
It always follows the same pattern, too:
Heavy eyes |
Droopy head |
Goodnight |
And again...
Heavy eyes |
Droopy head |
Goodnight |
And yet again...

Who can blame him, really? The hypnotic and rhythmic motion...the breeze in his hair...the warm sun on his face. I'm about to fall asleep just writing about it. I've heard it can lead to worse:
Falling asleep in class...
Falling asleep while mom and dad are lecturing you...
Falling asleep while PopPop is telling a story...
Just kidding, PopPop! ;) Love you!
And on a side note, you look very dapper in that blue shirt!
Happy Friday, all!
