Black Bean Dip

Here's a quick and easy recipe that we've been loving lately.  It's healthy too, which completes the trifecta of goodness. 

You'll need:

2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed

1 plum tomato, roughly chopped

1/2 onion, roughly chopped  (excuse the dark picture)

1/2 tablespoon cilantro

1 tablespoon cumin

3 tablespoons lime juice

3 teaspoons hot sauce

salt to taste

Throw all ingredients (except salt) into food processor

"Blend" in food processor until smooth.    Add salt to taste.

Garnish with cilantro and chopped bell pepper (or tomato).  Don't forget this part because-let's be honest-this dip resembles a bowl of doo-doo.  Although it may not look appetizing, it is. I promise.  How's that for a ringing endorsement?
